New York Giants afghan

I was recently asked to do a New York Giants afghan as a birthday present for a friend's child.  This little gem is laying over a full sized bed, with several inches hanging on each side, enough to cover the mattress.  I'm kinda proud of myself.  Since I showed this off on my facebook page I have been asked to do several more NFL teams.  What do you think of it?

  1. How in the world did you do it???? that's my only question. It's wonderful. I've been tasked with making a NJ Devils hat for a man and I'm stuck on the darn logo. no idea how to make it... it has so many curves and things ugh...

    1. Graph paper is my best friend! I look at the logo and try to work it out on graph paper as best I can. with something curvy like the devil's logo, I'd block it out on graph paper and use the black outline to soften up the corners afterward. I'd use the black to "surface crochet" around it (Google it if you're not familiar with this method...I love it!)
